Take for example two special options (New Picture and New Text) available straight through right click on tray icon. They give you ability to add pictures and text to your current wallpaper in a blink. No graphic editors and no control panel calls are necessary; the result is immediately visible! The same tray menu brings you, apart from options for controlling application itself, another useful feature. To change desktop wallpaper is now as easy as choosing it from a menu list.
Working with Active Desktop Wallpaper, you will find that designing new wallpaper is an absolutely easy job. If you already have a collection of pictures in jpg or bmp formats, you can create a whole bunch of different wallpapers in just a couple of quick steps. Simply use those pictures as building blocks for making wallpapers. Furthermore, you can enrich your creation with text messages of different sizes and styles.
Once you have made a collection of different wallpapers, Active Desktop Wallpaper has three working modes that will transform any desktop to an effective picture gallery. We already told you about easiness of manual wallpaper change, but there are also two ways of doing the same automatically. Cycling list is designed to change desktop wallpaper in regular intervals. You just have to make a list of wallpapers to be involved in rotation, and define appropriate time interval. Second option is known as Around-the-clock list. For every chosen wallpaper you will define exact time of the day when it should be displayed on desktop. As a final touch of style you can define a wav sound file that will be played every time when wallpaper change is on schedule.
